As human resources management partners with organization leadership to ensure their labor compliance bases covered, they frequently find themselves stretched thin in staying up to date on ever-changing labor laws and regulations. From anti-discrimination and harassment laws to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), there is a broad field for human resources to manage.

HR certifications from organizations such as SHRM and HRCI can help as does support from companies such as XpertHR.  Employment attorneys and HR consulting firms can also play a key role.
